EKCBA is pleased to announce that Mark S. Leen will be the featured speaker at its April 17 membership luncheon. His presentation will address "Online Data Mining: Practice, Strategy, and Application" including the best tools available, the issues related to admissibility in the courtroom, and the ethical implications.  Mr. Leen will walk attendees through a hypothetical from initial discovery to courtroom presentation. We anticipate that 1.0 CLE credit shall be approved by the WSBA.

Mr. Leen is a shareholder of Inslee Best Doezie & Ryder, P.S. His practice focuses on commercial, intellectual property, real estate litigation, and appellate advocacy.  Among other things, Mr. Leen has aided clients in quieting title to real property, recovering personal property, opposing trademark registrations, and litigating contract disputes.  Mr. Leen has also advocated for clients before the Washington Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  Prior to entering private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Keeton of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. While a law student, Mr. Leen served as a legal extern for the Honorable Barbara Madsen of the Washington State Supreme Court and was a board member of the Harvard Journal on Legislation.
