Lawler of Jameson Babbitt Stites & Lombard PLLC will speak on the topic "Ethics in Real Estate Boundary Law Matters" and will invite questions and open forum discussion following formal presentation of the material. We anticipate 1.0 CLE credit shall be approved by the WSBA for this presentation.

Please join us as we reignite the tradition of a joint EKCBA / ELAP Volunteer Recognition luncheon! This event will honor a few of the many wonderful volunteers whose dedication and contributions to ELAP's clients are valued so much. The Luncheon is timed perfectly to coincide with the 2014 National Pro Bono Celebration week which will take place October 19-25th.  We hope you will join us on October 23rd at 12:00 p.m. at El Gaucho in Bellevue for the inaugural restart of this tradition!

 

ELAP Volunteer Award Recipients

 

Sally Allwardt - Sally was the manager of 2014 ELAP Breakfast for Justice fundraising event.  Her dedication and efforts were rewarded by making it the most successful Breakfast for Justice yet.  

 

Jessica Beck - Jessica's has been a constant support to ELAP through its Wills Project, not only taking on wills clients but being instrumental in helping design tools for other pro bono attorneys to use as they take on wills cases.  

 

Perkins Coie - Leah Medway, Pro Bono Counsel, will be accepting the award on behalf of Perkins Coie, which has gone above and beyond with the Domestic Violence/Family Law cases referred to them, putting in thousands of hours on behalf of ELAP clients and getting great outcomes for the survivors and their children.

 

EKCBA Luncheon Speaker:  David J. Seeley

 

David J. Seeley David Seeley of Livengood Alskog PLLC will be the featured speaker at the luncheon and will share his experiences as Marlon Brando's attorney and the current project he is involved with.
